ASL Airlines France Check-in and Boarding Pass
ASL Airlines France mainly links France to Algeria and Morocco, flying from Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Terminal 3, Paris Orly 4 for Algiers, and several regional French airports. On these routes, check-in and boarding times are strict and differ depending on whether you depart from France or Algeria. Here is how to get your boarding pass, the latest time you can arrive, and what is checked at the gate."

What time does ASL Airlines France check-in open and close
The airline treats flights departing from Algeria differently from the rest of its network.
| Departure | Recommended counter arrival | Check-in closing time |
|---|---|---|
| Flights from Algeria | 3.5 hours before departure | 1.5 hours before departure |
| All other flights (outside Algeria) | around 3 hours before departure, based on the airline's published information | around 1 hour before departure, based on the airline's published information |
These times apply to the airport counters. For online check-in, opening and closing times are set individually for each flight: check the times shown on your booking or confirmation, and keep in mind that online check-in closes no later than the counter closing time. During busy periods (school holidays, summer travel to Algiers, Bejaia, Setif, Constantine or Oujda), check-in and security lines get noticeably longer, so allow extra time rather than cutting it close.
Online check-in, counters and boarding pass
Check-in is done through the airline's website, in the Check-in or My Bookings section, using your booking reference and name. Once completed, your boarding pass is issued for you to present at the gate.
A few points worth knowing:
- Some situations may still require a counter visit, for example when travel documents need to be checked for Algeria or Morocco, or when special assistance has been arranged: check with the airline before your flight date.
- If you are travelling with hold baggage, having your boarding pass in advance does not remove the need to drop off your bag at the counter before check-in closes.
- Ticket bought on the airline's website: requests are handled by ASL Airlines France customer service, at supportclient@aslairlines.com. Ticket bought through a travel agency or another online seller: contact that seller directly.
ASL Airlines France does not highlight a dedicated mobile app: check-in and booking management go through the airline's website from a browser, on computer or phone.
At the airport: documents, baggage and boarding gate closing time
At boarding, you must present your boarding pass along with your identity document; in the absence of a valid identity document, boarding will be refused. For flights to Algeria or Morocco, also bring the documents required by your destination (passport, visa or residence permit depending on your situation). Minors living in France are affected by the exit authorisation requirement, regardless of their nationality.
Gates close 15 minutes before departure, regardless of the departure airport. A passenger arriving after this time will be denied boarding.
On baggage, the allowance depends on the fare and the destination. Cabin baggage is limited to 10 kg (outside the MINI fare, the accepted weight may differ depending on the flight), with the sum of the three dimensions not exceeding 115 cm, including pockets, wheels and handles. One accessory of 40x30x20 cm is also allowed, to be placed under the seat in front of you. For hold baggage, the special Standard fare includes 23 kg; no bag may exceed 32 kg. At Roissy CDG and Orly, only wrapping done at the Bag Wrap kiosks is accepted, Safe Bag at Lyon and Smart Bag at Algiers.
Common issues and solutions
Online check-in rejects my booking. The check-in counter remains the standard option: arrive within the times recommended by the airline, which are longer for flights departing from Algeria.
I have not received my boarding pass by email. Check your spam folder, then log back into My Bookings to download it again. If the ticket was bought on the airline's website, customer service can be contacted; otherwise, get in touch with your seller.
Wrong name or passport number. A name that does not exactly match your ID document can cause issues at the document check. Have the booking corrected before your flight date, through the airline if the ticket was bought on its website, or through the agency otherwise.
I am running late. Once the closing time has passed, check-in is no longer possible, and boarding closes 15 minutes before departure: aim for the recommended arrival times rather than the absolute deadline.
I forgot to check in. iBoardingPass checks in on the traveller's behalf, as soon as the airline's check-in opens, and sends the boarding pass by email.
